Shale Hill Farms is open on weekends between Thanksgiving and Christmas, and payment is cash only. Refreshments include hot dogs, muffins, hot chocolate, and more. While you are visiting, check out the farm animals residing in a restored, heated 19th-century barn, and enjoy the Christmas movies that play all day long in the hayloft. Opening day is Black Friday, with a 'soft opening' on the weekend of November 18-19, 2023, for cut-your-own Frasier and Canaan firs.
